I did :-)

I was at that show, many many moons ago. It's one of a handful of candidate shows for my famous (to me) "Jerry smiled at me" moment. The shows then, at least in the Midwest, weren't at terribly big venues -- not tiny, but you could see the band and get good seats and often move up close -- and at one show before Phil and Jerry switched sides I was up front in the aisle, dancing and watching Jerry -- and then... hang on for the excitement folks ... he smiled and nodded! Right at me! In a highly Jerry-ish manner! So, there ya go. I'll take credit for being the inspiration for any fine musical moments you choose.

I'm at Drums right now and I have to say it is a beauuuutiful recording and a really good show: IKYR and He's Gone, especially. (Not a big Black Peter fan and definitely NOT a Good Lovin fan so I may have to hop off here.)

Never saw a show where I was close enough to tell if I was close enough for Jerry to give me a nod but I did stop to eat on the way back from Virginia earlier this week and a guy in the parking lot nodded at my stealie shirt and the manager said I looked like Phil, circa late '80s.

Travel safely back to the Kat.
